Excellent wine, and you can have picnics unset the chestnut tress. Was awesome.

Nice selection of wines in quiet location. Our host was knowledgeable and was even kind enough to open a newly released bottle that was not on the tastig list.

Great wines, enthusiastic and helpful staff, well worth a detour off the highway.

Great place to visit, live, and work. The new winemaking team of Ben Haynes and Jess Robinson are making some wines that express the patches of vineyards they come from. One of the few vineyards in Australia with true terroir. Az and his dog Sparky are pretty awesome too.

A historic Australian cool climate winery well worth the stop!

We visited the winery in November,2015 and were amazed at the depth of quality right through the range. A great idea to see a few new labels for sale at the cellar door only, making the visit most worthwhile. If you are a wine lover then there is certain to be several wines to suit your wallet as well as your palate.

Made the detour off the highway to revisit the cellar door on Mon 12th October en route MEL to ADL.
nobody at cellar door at 9:15 am, no body answered phone and was ignored by all vineyard staff.
Obviously they don't care about customers!, If you say you open at 9am then do as you say! time would've been better spent continuing on to Seppelts and Bests.
    an ex fan.
