At short notice we reached out to Dean from Melbourne Frosted Glass to provide us with frosting a window in our new home which wasn’t completed as part of the construction. We had a large exposed window facing on to a common driveway. We explored a few options and landed on frosting being the best fit to provide privacy while also still allowing for light to come through. We’re very glad we did. It was the perfect fit for the space to achieve those objectives. Dean was prompt, really easy to deal with, the finished products looks great and this was a great value solution! We’d highly recommend Dean and Melbourne Frosted Glass

Absolute first class service. Dean was exceptionally responsive and the quality of his work in removing and replacing our pool fence filming was beyond all expectations. He was efficient, friendly and absolutely professional, despite working all day in the extreme heat. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

Melbourne Frosting (Dean) was efficient, professional and reliable when completing the frosting for two of our bathrooms. The workmanship is immaculate and Dean even removed my existing blinds. Would 100% recommend and use again.

Appalling, horrible, very poor workmanship would NOT RECOMMEND this company who claims they are “Reliable & professional”???? We have received very BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Their website claims they computer cut logos and images into the frosting ‘no job is too big or too small and our customer service is second to none’. The frosted glass we received from Dean was very badly done. It had an uneven gap through the middle of our shops logo which is a major eye sore & first thing clients see as it is at eye level. Also bubbles and creases in the bottom right corner. Dean told us that the bubbles will come out when it dries. We were obviously very un happy with paying $870.87 for this dodge job, we contacted Dean to ask please can you come and fix this we are unhappy, explaining the issue where he blamed the window for not being perfectly square and he also tried saying that it’s because the vinyl stretches while putting it on and that its normal and it’s the best that he can do. We explained that the main issue is the noticeable gap through the shop logo and if you can’t join two pieces of vinyl together without having a gap, can you at least have the join lower down, out of eye line. Dean then told us he could do this for an added price of $380 plus gst, to cover wastage. We felt ripped off but agreed to pay this price as the shops opening day was the following week and we just wanted it fixed. He didn’t fix it the following week and kept postponing it there after. We contacted him again, advising this needs to be rectified immediately and we are sick of waiting. This is when Dean then said he doesn’t want to fix the issue and now blamed it on incorrect measurements that were sent. Having a small vertical gap at the lower left side of the window frame was the result of a a window frame that isn’t square which we are not fussed about. It’s when a gap goes horizontally through the middle of the window which is a result of poor installation and has nothing got to do with the window being square. He then admitted his error and advised he will take half the responsibility as he believes he is liable for half of the mistakes made. Dean then advised us he would return half the amount of money we paid but will not fix it as he doesn’t want to. He advised to send through bank details and he would return half the money. We sent through our bank details. 4 weeks later we have still not received any money back. No word from Dean. 8 weeks since the installation and the gap through the middle of the logo is still there and the bubbles and creases haven’t dispersed. Feeling extremely ripped off and disappointed with the service we received. Dean of Melbourne Frosted Glass obviously does not stand by his 12 month installation guarantee.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY EMEMY. Horrible frosted glass, even worse customer service.

Our school library has now had 2 installations by Melbourne Frosted Glass. A large expanse of glass to keep our office private but allowing us to see students working in the library. Most recently we got signage on our study rooms following a refurbishment. The response is always prompt friendly and efficient the product looks fantastic, I would highly recommend.
