Food is masterchef-yperhaps too much so. Service was average for what it should be but you can't argue with the view and ambience

Lovely location. Food very nice, both in presentation and taste.
Very expensive for what you get though. I don't expect to have to pay for water or bread as extra costs and given it's so expensive sides should be included too.
You definitely shouldn't need to leave the restaurant and eat as my partner did because he was still hungry!
Very overrated. Stayed at RACV where the food was equally as good, not cheap but much better value for money.

Thoroughly disappointing. 2 courses $70 Vegetarian meal is a raw cold apple! Complained & got fries. Given water for the table then charged $40! Please don't waste your money.

Excellent Service. Meals overall were nice, but lacked a little excitement. The Red Hill Estate Merricks Grove Chardonnay was exquisite.

It was just ok. Outstanding view (possibly the best of any vineyard on the MP). The food was overly complex for what they seemed to be motivated to cook the day I was there. There are a lot more better options in that area for food now.

Came with my sisters for a girls weekend through MP EXPERIENCE - fantastic staff, beautiful food and gorgeous views. Max was very friendly awesome. Definitely recommend.

The views were exceptional, green vineyards and a view of the beach in the distance. Their wine was good, especially the Sparkling, and the food was nice along with the staff.

This place is worth the drive. I have eaten here twice and the taste is exceptional. The view is lovely how when you take the first bite I'm sure you will have the "oh my god" face on. (No I am not an employee, or cousin.. or someone who owes them money)

What a great day our party had at Max's Restaurant. Went for a wine tasting first then onto the 3 course meal with suggested wines. The food was everything we hoped for and wines went nicely. The service was ok, the room was a bit stuffy with all those bodies but by far the best part was the view we had. Great experience for all the senses!!
