Was very happy with the service and food quality. A little bit pricey but understandable based on locality and target market. Not too kid friendly but more geared for business people or older tourists. Wasn't too busy overall and the bento boxes were fantastic

Lucas and the staff were delightful. Excellent food. Great place to dine. Gluten free menu is superb. Highly recommend.

An online booking system is something that Melbourne restaurants are severely lacking, however Chocolate Buddha ultilises a website called 'Open Table' to allow you ease of selecting your time and preference for outside or inside dining. The service here is warm and inviting, and also quick! The restaurant was full and we received our meals within 15-20 minutes. I ordered the Steak Don which was delicious, while my partner had the curry vegetable don, which she also enjoyed very much. There's usually some left over for me to eat but she ate it all so that says something. Prices here are reasonable. I would highly recommend this Japanese inspired restaurant to anyone.

Food is amazing and the service is impecable. Atmosphere is relaxing and casual. You may have to wait a little while for a table during busy periods but it is worth it.

This is a nice quiet retreat to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The food is quite good but I would not say authentic. Great to catch up here with friends for a coffee in a nice setting.
