Don't believe the misconception that a free lawyer is a bad lawyer. To be in a permanent position with legal aid WA is quite a sought after job for lawyers.

Had no wait time at all and was easily able to get booked in to receive legal advice. The follow up appointment call with legal aid lawyer was scheduled and completed efficiently the very next day (less than 24 hours later)

I waited for nearly an hour to speak to someone about what steps I need to take to lodge and activate an enduring power of attorney and an enduring power of guardianship only to be told they no longer have the funding to help me with this or to give me any information over the phone. I have no idea what the point of legal aid is, they are utterly useless!
