Perfect for young families. . Ian helped us with getting our tent up. Cant thank them enough.
Paid a fortune for our beachfront cabin. Only had aircon in 1 of the 2 bedrooms, not kids bedroom (which was hot af for daytime naps) or main area. Main area was super tiny for a family. Oven was a microwave oven so we couldn't cook our pork roast we bought or bake our ham. Water slide was only open for a couple of hours in morning and arvo and the other water play activity had the water turned off completely so kids couln't use it. Also the people in the cabin next door hogged the bbq the entire time as there was no way to book it etc
Great place to stay, especially with kids. Cabins are room and clean. A little dated and need some TLC, but functional. Sooo many things for the kids to do.
I haven't been to this park yet but have been told great things. After reading your response to Amanda ting I'm happy to say I am on my way and I'll see you soon! It was gold! Thanks for the great Sunday reading!
Nice Park, great pool and kids pool with slides. Close to beach and pub. Friendly staff. Clean amenities
Great weekend away the pool is loads of fun for the kids
Inexpensive but comfortable and well equipped cabins. There is an excellent water play structure with three water slides for the kids and a large play pool with inflatable pool toys. Only minor gripes were that we booked the wheelchair friendly cabin (has a king bed) but got a non wheelchair one and the pool desperately needs a shade sail.
The 1 star is for the great park itself with all the water slides etc The managers of the caravan park are so rude I will never stay here again and I would never recommend anyone to stay here as we paid quite a bit of money and to be treated so rude from the manager herself was appalling. It was rudeness from the start I have just moved from Cairns to Innisfail and used this caravan park in between my move NOT very welcoming at all.
