  Top pub to visit. Only reason i didnt give 5 stars was because every time i go to the mems toilet is stinks of old stale urine. FIX THIS PROBLEM. and it would be 10/10

  The BEST CHICKEN SCHNITZEL I have ever had in Australia! It was quite a while ago though, but when I visit Mt Gambier again I look forward to a great tasting schnitzel

  This is probably one of the worst places I have stayed at. The bed was surprisingly comfortable but nothing else about the room was at all - the bathrooms, pillows, noise level, etc. Travelling with others allowed me to see multiple rooms, which did not vary in terms of comfort, only smell. The only hearing provided were some small portable heaters which looked very old and tripped the circuit breakers multiple times.

  Food quality was below average. Lamb burger was a disaster,could get better burger in any of the Fast Food places. Schnitzel was " no thrill " with wrong sauce. Will not come back there for a meal. On the other hand - friendly staff and plenty sitting option.

  Asked where part of our order was 4 times over an hour and a half. Then was told that we never ordered it. No apology and no effort to fix it.

  Room was small, outside was dirty, no breakfast menu.
  Plus side, tidy room, air con and heating, own bathroom with shower, TV, friendly staff.
