  Wifi wasn't working when we arrived around 6:30pm and promptly at 7:00pm the person that was trying to fix it left, so we never had wifi during our stay. The room was clean, but needed a refresh pretty badly (old greasy carpet, water damage stains on the wall, crusty bathroom fixtures) and in the morning when people in adjoining rooms started to take showers the pipes screeched like they were about to come out of the walls. In our own bathroom the noise was so loud and irritating that we decided to forego showering at this place altogether. We stayed here in the cheap, but I don't think we got what we paid for.

  Simple check in and out. No hassle. Room was cozy as they turned on the heater and electric blankets for us before we arrived. Toilet roll holder a bit of a nightmare.

  Spacious room - dated but clean, good facilities, great view over city / sunset, strong hot shower, bathroom fan, large bench space. Fully equipped camp kitchen avail. Good location to access tourist attractions by car. Cooked breakfast avail in dining room. New, enthusiastic management. Only suggestions for improvement = quieter aircon, toilet roll instead of leaflets.

  Nice motel for the price, staff where super friendly and helpful. Even giving a map and telling us the best places to go in Mount Gambier.
