I was genuinely impressed with the food their serve! All dishes were full of flavours and even their side dish-baked potatoes were amazing! Such pretty venue too esp around the sunset time. Super close to the bay and the view is just amazing I’d definitely go back:

    Lovely scenery but terrible management.
They are listed as dog friendly online, and have outdoor seating on grass, however the out of touch management don’t allow dogs.
Booked for a friends birthday because they were supposed to be dog friendly but decided to leave because they wanted us to leave the dogs in the car park.

If you are not dog friendly then you have a responsibility to update your online presence to make this clear, better yet, in the outdoor grass area, allow dogs in the grassy area.

Bit disappointed on this occasion went for birthday lunch after waiting almost an hour and noticing other tables being served before us we were advised they had no food docket for our table not very happy. Short story the staff sorted this out, food was nice and staff came to a generous arrangement with the bill so not all bad but still a little put off overall.

I'm writing this review while it's fresh in my mind. This is a cellar door and restaurant where you'll be greeted by obese workers (probably the cooks) standing outside the front door spouting foul language, truck drivers trying to run you over as they drive from deiveries to the entrance of the restaurant blocking your way to get in and extremely young wine tasting reps who not only do not know anything about the wines but do not care enough to know them and will laugh and smirk at you if you ask details about their wines as if to say "you're a wine snob". One of them poured wine all over the glass then laughed about it. Another waiter laughed at a Scottish customer's accent while he was paying for his meal saying "I have no idea what you just said. That is funny."

Yes I am a wine snob but I also expect decent customer service. I will not be back at Jack Rabbit again.

Wine is five star as expected.
Food is small portioned and bland. The meat share platter is particularly pathetic with tiny serving size and so so quality. Needs improvement.

I have done in the outdoor restaurant (not the real flash one) and it’s beautiful. Delicious food wines and the view over to the Uou Yangs can’t be beaten

Fantastic spot on a clear day for a view across the bay accompanied by a decent glass of wine. Be aware that if you want to eat here on the weekend, make sure that you book ahead.

We came here for dinner last night for my birthday and had a lovely night. Well worth heading in for a special occasion.

Food is really tasty, drinks are great, and staff lovely. Just be expecting the higher prices for the location & experience.

Went here for a wedding last January almost two years ago, but felt the need to express what a beauty this place was.. great food, service decor and atmosphere, the marriage took place under a gum tree with the beautiful view of the ocean merging into the sky as backgroundsimply splendid.

Great scenery but cafe food was extremely average. Ordered the seafood grazing plate. Looked like leftover chucked together with some bread biscuits. Can make a better one at home. Coffee was also average. Great view though and wine was good.

Very good food and wine, should probably book ahead in the busy periods as it will most likely be booked out. The view to the ocean is stunning!

Lovely view. Had our lunch at Terindah over the road, as that restaurant had a later closing time. But enjoyed a cup of tea here afterwards.
