Nice and easy self check in and pick a spot for camping with a tent. Good male facilities
Staff were extremely helpful and facilities were kept clean. Kids enjoyed the onsite pool/playground. Pub across the road was great for a meal with a young family.
Very friend lyrics and helped two over 60's who were sick of the car and wanted to check this gr8 place out
Didn't have a cabin available that would fit our family (we didn't have a booking), so they called the rest of the caravan parks for us until they found a place that could take us! That's awesome customer service. Thanks for finding us a place, even when you don't benefit from it. We'll certainly come back for a holiday.
Great campground! We stayed within the open (unpowered) area for 2 nights. I'll start with the pros: The amenities were spotless and there are plenty of them so you're not waiting to use them in the morning or at night. The pool area is a good size and in great shape. The front desk staff were great and very helpful. There is a tavern across the street and town isn't too far away. Quiet time on site is at 10pm, which is great if you're looking to just relax without too much noise.
Somewhere between a pro & con: the camping area is big. HOWEVER - the sites are not numbered, so it can get a little cramped and privacy isn't always available.
Cons: Laundry facility was ok (could probably upgrade their washers). You can notice some traffic noise at night as the road runs along the side of the campground. The wifi was TERRIBLE, but when you're in the Whitsundays, should we really complain about the wifi? Probably not.
Very clean and friendly place to stay. IGA very close and a great Pub across the road with great food. About 1 km walk to the centre of town. Will be staying there any time we visit Airlie.
Staff are so friendly and accommodating it creates a very nice environment for all fellow travellers
Stayed 2 nights on a powered site. Amazing quiet place, with lots of birds and bird sounds around you. Great facilities, swimming pool, BBQ. Clean showers and toilets. Staff was incredibly helpful and found us a good deal for a tour to the Whitsundays and some snorkeling. Can definitely recommend!
The staff was really nice, and it's just a 15 min walk to Airlie Beach City Centre. There's also an IGA close by so spontaneous grocery shopping is possible as well. Amenities clean, power outlets for free in the kitchen, and there's parrot feeding everyday at 4pm. It's just not a very scenic spot and their free WiFi doesn't work very well.
nice friendly staff, quiet location, provide tour to go to white heaven or Hamilton, good with friends or family. We enjoyed cooking n relaxing. Just too slow wifi
I loved my experience stayed there twice. Once camping other time cabin. Camping ground awesome. Cabin vines with everything. Tv, hairdryer, toaster,BBQ, utensils, tings and stuffs. Close to everything, shops and wonderful lagoon. Only let down went to buy mosi spray cost $13 big let down. Cabins cheap though. Also friendly staff and birds
Stayed in a cabin. Seemed very clean but had a strange smell of damp. No hot water on shower block 1 however new shower block was clean and modern. Reception was very helpful.
Awesome place on a backpackers budget! We stayed in a lodge type thing and it was great it had a TV, wifi, full kitchen minus an oven, DVD player, and comfy beds. Short walk to a grocery store and the marina! The people working there were also very helpful explaining the bus system and making special accommodation for us because we were checking in so late. I would not hesitate to go back. Should be noted that if your looking to party or go to the main part of town it's quite a walk so you'd need a cab or bus.
