Beautifully presented rooms at a great price. We just stopped in on the way north, but are already planning to come back for a longer stay. The pool was beautiful and warm.

We camped and the campground was spacious enough, shared facilities were reasonably clean and very usable for an overnight stay.

Never mind the dogs - BEWARE THE OWNERS

As an ex-resident of 5 months this review is based on a long-term stay in the park:

In the wake of Cyclone Debbie my partner and I were disgustingly evicted from the park. This was following a request to provide power by the on-site generator to our powered site and the simple necessity of a hot shower after being without power and water for 5 days. As I was interstate for work my partner was cornered by the owners, verbally abused and literally spat on. Needless to say I was in awe. To think we were paying residents, financially supporting the park, this is socially and professionally unacceptable. In a ironic twist, the police were called to assist the eviction to which they requested not to be bothered again by such a trivial matter in a time of natural disaster. To further prolong the matter my partners private details were publicly displayed on social media (which have now been deleted) in attempt to make finding new accomodation more difficult for us. Unsurprisingly I am appalled by this behaviour from these business owners we had previously trusted and happily abided by a request to improve our site by providing countless hours of unpaid labour to spread numerous tonnes of ground base with no help.

Aside from our personal experience, there have been numerous requests from all residents to provide improved water quality with test data as you can literally see and taste the sediment.

Also note the park is located 10 minutes out of Airlie Beach next to an airport that operates 7 days.

I strongly encourage anyone thinking of staying here to go elsewhere as I would hate for anyone else to have to go through a similar experience.

Feel free to contact me should you require any further information regarding the matter as the owners haven't yet bothered to do so.

Just spent a lovely night as guests of the owners for a Saturday night get together. We had nibblies and music with an open fire. About 60 people participated as well as permanents which made it even more special as they welcomed us with open arms. This park changed hands about a month ago and from all accounts had progressed in leaps and bounds. We have found the owners and ground staff to be lovely people who greet you with a smile and go out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. Thoroughly recommend the park as a must stay in Airlie Beach.
