Great location, sites and facilities are well look after. Literally 30 seconds to the beach. Great for families, groups of friends and couples.

Great place to stay. Just walk over the sand dunes to the beach. Great for kids. Very new, clean facilities.

Have camped here a quite a few times on sites 108 and 109 and never a problem. Wanted to try a few new things gazebo and tent and decided sites 63A and 63 were good, with toilets and showers across from them Booked these on the phone and fully paid and when we went to check in was told that the toilets there were not opened in the winterIt was the 13th October (hardly winter)..and asked had we not been toldNo we hadn't. It was then suggested we change sites as there were quite a few empty ones. As we had planned all along for these sites, the way they were situated, we did not want to change, however my complaint is 1) it wasn't winter and 2) we were not told when I booked

Very basic facilities, no WiFi. Paid $42 for a powered site. Actually wanted to stay in the Big4 but were asked to use this campground.

My thoughts are
- Nice clean place
- The prices are nuts for an unpowered site.
2 adults + 1x16yr old + 1x12yr old = $182 for 2 nights unpowered site?
If you shop around you can get 5 nights or better at lots of other places peak period for that price.
We arrived in the rain - but our site we booked someone was already on it.. A call to the office had it easily fixed but could ruin your stay.
Some of the sites are VERY small and close together, so just be aware.
Nice place, easy access, lots of families but sadly they pack em in like sardines - they could have been family groups I dunno, but way to cramped for me.
Dunnys and showers were clean and kept clean, beach access was good, safe and easy.
But wouldn't go back at those prices. No caravan park is worth $180 for 2 nights not even powered with manicured lawns..Shameresponse / report this review -

Nice place, facilities are nice. little bit on the pricey side though $65 per night for what is a patch of dirt and use of showers and toilets. Was disappointing to find only powered site users could use BBQs too which we were told on the phone we would have access to.

If you would like to stay awake every night with a large group of loud drunks next door, which the management seem incapable or unwilling to do anything about, this is the place for you. Oh yes! the use of poor language is rampant from surrounding sites during the day period/s too.
For the top $$$ paid to gain a site here, better off somewhere else with more respectful clientele.response / report this review
