  We would like to thank Hertz Rental Hobart Downtown for being accommodating to the numerous change requests throughout our travels within Tasmania, without which, would have been a stressful journey. We would like to especially thank the female staff member who helped us out with our reservation (sorry have forgotten your name).

  I wish you could give no stars. The people that work here are so bad, very uninterested and could care less about customer service. they charged my card the wrong amount and then basically just shrugged their shoulders. I spent 2 hours on the phone to the head office trying to sort it out and the best they could do is open an investigation and say they will get back to me.
  
  I would never recommend this company to anyone. They are soooooooo bad.

  Hertz = Extorsion
  These guys are smug, rude and they couldn't care any less about the way they treat people.
  
  Maybee we got them on a bad day? But after talking with three different members of their team, desperately hoping to politely resolve any issues, they still charged us an additional $200 on top of our full booking fee and we were 'lucky' it wasn't more (note the booking was organised weeks in advance too)
  
  So we were stranded in a foreign airport, with no help, trying to do the right thing and got screwed for it

  They might charge you for damage you didn't caused. Keep in mind while giving them deposit because they never returned mine, giving me incident report the next day of returning the car.

  Absolutely amazing service from the AutoRent Hertz team! Throughout my trip, I had some small issues but I received amazing help from staff members named Andrew and Kevin. The amount of effort and care they took in ensuring my issues were resolved turned what could have been a bad experience into one where I could resume my holiday with no issues.
  
  Andrew also made the effort to reach out post the holiday and ensure everything was fine and that I enjoyed my trip.
  
  This was the first time I've ever used a camper van and it was one of the best holidays ever! Will definitely return when I can to use their services again.
  
  Would highly recommend anyone to use their services when visiting Tasmania!!!
