I was initially fearful of going to a dentist that's not my usual dentist but had to due to my cracked tooth which has been chipping away. Ian, the dentist, was professional and skilful, yet gentle in his assessment and handling. He took the time to explain to me the different options for my tooth and referred me on to a specialist so that I can be taken care of properly. This is a boutique practice with professional and friendly staff. :)

I highly recommend this dental practice! I was attending a city clinic before changing and I'm very glad I made the switch. Caring staff, always on time and very gentle. A recent filling only took 30 mins from start to finish! Very impressed.

I have always had a major fear of dentists but I was desperate to get a tooth out and booked a visit with the Helena Street dental clinic in Midland during Covid 19. Ian the Dentist was brilliant and took the tooth out with very little after affect I have now been back for a second extraction , teeth cleaning and some fillings . I can honestly say my fear of dentists has completely dissipated. Ian is an extremely caring and gentle dentist and the costs are quite reasonable on comparisons to other dentists. I highly recommend Ian and his friendly team at Helena Street Dental Clinic you will be looked after by a highly professional and caring compassionate team and I can assure you that any fears you may hold with regard to dentists will be gone after your first visit

Best dentist I've ever been to! Very patient, clearly explains what is being done and what your options are. The dentist has a real talent for putting your mind at ease. Also the only fully painless dental visits I've ever had and they did my root canal. Cannot recommend more highly.

Helena Street Dental Clinic was recommended to me by a friend. Let's face it, no one enjoys going to the dentist, but this is the best clinic I've ever been to. Easy to make an appointment, plenty of parking available (also easy walking distance from the Midland station), friendly professional team, little or no waiting time, gentle yet thorough treatments with modern equipment (I love the small camera that let you see on the screen what's going on in your own mouth), and no unnecessary pushy treatments.

Very impressed with the service at Helena St Dental Clinic. All the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and interested in helping any way they can. Took my 4 yr old daughter for the first time and the visit was a breeze - they were wonderful with her. I was offered a free teeth whitening and movie voucher for referring someone else which I loved! Will be taking our family every year for our check ups

I have been a patient of Helena Street Dental for at least ten years and every visit has been a positive experience. It's a small practice where the staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They have always been accomodating, even when emergency treatment has been necessary.
I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of dental treatment in Midland and surroundng areas.

While going to the dentist is not on the top of the list of fun things to do for most people, choosing one that makes the experience as comfortable as possible can make all the difference.

At Helena Street Dental, Ian and his team take the extra time to ensure you feel relaxed and your gum is numbed before the needle even goes in. They never rush you, allowing time for the anaesthetic to take effect, and pausing if you are experiencing any pain.

Their philosophy is about total oral care, not just fixing the immediate problem. Ian and the hygienist will explain what you may be doing wrong to cause the problems in the first place and how to change your habits to prevent trouble in the future.

For anyone who dreads going to the dentist, you may very well find this practice a pleasant change, making it much easier to work up the courage next time. When I first started going to them many years ago, there was a sign on the door saying "We Cater for Cowards" - and I'm now a happy coward.
