Having not heard of Halls before, I was nervous, but ultimately so happy we chose Beau and his team to help us say goodbye to dad. The follow up, attention to detail and delivery of our every wish was first class. The day went perfectly because Beau made sure of every detail. Could not recommend Halls more highly.

Would not recommend Halls Funerals at Diamond Creek. The most unprofessional people I have come across. You only get one opportunity to say good bye to your loved one and we ended up changing Funeral Homes 3 days before my dads funeral. At time when you are most vulnerable you need professionals that take the pressure off and reassure you that everything will be okay. We should have known at the start. From picking up my dad at the nursing home when rolling him out to the the dirty funeral car they couldn't work out where is head was had to keep lifting the throw. Halls didnt have a nice cover had to get one from the from the family. From the first call. We arranged the death notice. To arriving at funeral home asking where the toilet was which was in their own house - the toilet seat was up and then had to walk around to find somewhere to wash my hands the only place was in there kitchen sink which was full of dirty dishes. Every time I rang to follow up on something she was always stressed and focussed on other funerals. Didn't go the extra mile we had to arrange transport we have someone but haven't used them in a while the lady said so another thing for the family to organise. We created the booklet. We had to find the music to play not the words but the actual music. Family Overseas tried to write a tribute but was charged $$. The final straw was when we asked for the live stream to be sent out as it was in covid times she said I am not sure how. It doesn't matter she said it will be posted after the funeral. Not good enough we have family in Perth, Canada and London that want to watch the live funeral. We organised the church and they doubled the price of the church. We lost the faith that Halls could deliver a good service. The service that my dad deserved our last good bye. We had also paid $2500 up front to ensure that we got the best from them. When we changed funeral Home can highly recommend Tobin Brothers in Doncaster by the way I said I will follow up after the funeral to get a refund of money. What happened next was so horrible they said they had spent hours on dads funeral and would only get a small amount back $500. This funeral took place in November 2019 but I haven't been able to write this review until now because we were so upset by Halls Funerals. When I rang to say we are changing homes because we didn't believe they could do the right thing she just said okay. No care in the world. We have written this review because at a time when you are most venerable we don't want anyone else to have to go through what we did.

One of the best funeral service's I've been too, very personable and extremely empathetic and respectful to whom we were there to celebrate the life of.
Been to, too many funerals in my time and this by far was the best celebration and send off you could hope for when saying goodbye to a loved one. Beau and his team went above and beyond to make sure this was personable and a celebration of life.response / report this review -

Beau and the team at Halls were fantastic, they gave my Nana the perfect funeral, everything she ever wanted and they were so supportive of my family and great to be around. Thank you for everything 🙂
