I have driven by this store for over 30 years now, and have always wondered what sort of wonders lie hidden in this cave of mystery.
No more mystery - it's just a cave.
Not much stock, definitely no treasures, and on the day I went, the staff appeared to be more interested in goofing around with each other than even greeting the customers.
It may have been an off day; I guess I'll find out, when I stop in again in 30 years time
To the old man behind the counter: just because I’m a person of colour doesn’t mean you have to follow me around with your eyes around the store when I’m browsing. Giving us the silent treatment the whole time we’re being served. When we say thank you - a “you’re welcome” would be nice. Poor form mate.
Michael is awesome at his job always happy to help. Always makes me feel good. Very professional. I travel from Seville Grove because he is so friendly. Thankyou Michael
It is no secret that the cost of day to day living is increasing exponetionally. I regularly visit Sammy and Vinny stores because you have the potential to be able to purchase an item for a price that defies belief. I found a pair of G Star Raw jeans in Tasmania for $10, they were almost if not ever worn. I gave the store $20 after explaining the retail price. The staff are always friendly and amicable. Supporting charities is important as the government would rather build ridiculous infrastructure and increase their pay than help those truly in need.
Decent deals. Decent selection for the women. Not so much if you're a man or a child. Staff have always been nice, though. Split into two sections; one for clothing, one for furniture. Nicer than some Good Sammys I've been to.
