Gil continues to exceed my expectations! He calmly talked me through (over the phone) the potential issue with my car breaking down and not starting, whilst I was in all sorts. However, despite that issue being fixed, there was also an underlying problem that wasn’t going away. Gil took my car in and stayed back late to diagnose and fix the underlying issue, despite it being a very busy week for him, so I could have a working car in time for the holidays. I couldn’t ask for a more patient, thoughtful and dedicated mechanic.
You are one in a million Gil!!

Over the years, I have always found Gil Auto to be honest, fair priced, very helpful and efficient to deal with.

Rego checks are also quick and easy.

I have used other mechanics in the Bondi Junction area, and found them to be sub standard in their honesty and way over a reasonable or fair price.

NOTE: I have sent several friends to Gil Auto also, and they are all regulars ever since.

I am 100% successful with Gil's work on my car. In fact, I love that when Gil showed me and explained all my car's issues directly on my car. Gill is quick to answer a response to a missed call and sounds like he leaves no stones unturned. I had to bring my car im last minute die to an oil issue and he got down to the bottom of the problem as fast as you could ask for (within a and day), I'm new to NSW and now think I have found myself a new mechanic. Very happy with the service.

Gil Auto helped me at very short notice - being tyre related, whilst it was not an issue they specialise in, they arranged for BobJane to come and fix my tyres, and looked after me as if I was their client - from getting my car in the morning, to leaving it available for me in the evening.

Extremely overpriced.
Put the car in for a full service. Received a call back from Gill to let me know that the front break pads needed changing and the front parking sensor needed fixing.
When I asked the cost, I decided I would just have the full service. Called a couple of other garages and they were 30-40% cheaper. All up I saved myself hundreds of dollars. I will definitely not be going back.

I cannot recommend Gil highly enough! I've been going to Gil's for years. Recently my BMW repairs were completely fumbled by my local BMW service Centre. Gil worked tirelessly to diagnose the problems. While his team couldn't do the specialist repairs, he charged me NOTHING and connected me to a BMW specialist who was great.
