  Awesome, awesome awesome.
  
  Our room was awesome, the location was awesome, the manager Kevin and the other young lady running the place are awesome.
  
  My partner and I came to cairns recently with not much of a plan. The staff there recommended heaps of great activities.
  
  We had a great time.

  Nice clean apartments, management bent over backwards to accommodate our secure parking needs (boat, car & trailer), easily accessible..definitely go again

  Spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Has 2 ensuites and 3 toilets. Quiet area of town. Slight walking distance to central. Good for groups. Found bed a little uncomfortable.

  It has been nice to visit cairns. Getaway is a very relaxing and cheap apartment for the week i am staying here. There is alot to do and most of it is close by the apartment.

  Location is good although a good few minutes walk away from anything. Rooms are nice and large. Everything is clean and seems well maintained if a bit old. Reception hours are sparse but good out of hours check-in procedure.

  Was very dissopointed; expected a lot for more for what we paid. The apartment was not cleaned, benches, floors, appliances, crockery and cutlery felt grimy. If you wanted the apartment to be cleaned it was at a large extra fee. Otherwise you could borrow the vacuum.
  A pair of underwear had been left in the washing machine.
  Anything extra you were charged for, including towels and if you wanted to scan or make a photocopy of anything.
  Wifi was very patchy. Foxtel was very hard to access with no instructions.
  Management was a bit vague and had very short office hours so there was no point of reference if we had any issues.
  Also there was no elevator so we needed to carry our luggage up and down two flights of stairs.
  That being said the beds were comfy and the rooms were quite nice with large wardrobes.
  But overall would not recommend.

  Nice enough place, pool looked a little dirty but didn't spend any time at it to say for sure. There is a party hostel next door but they were never particularly loud. Walking distance from lots of good restaurants and stores
