At the end of a very windy road in the middle of nowhere is this amazing paradise that provides almost a sanctuary from modern life. Family owned, I stayed here only for two nights, but I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay. With an incredibly reasonable price per night, very welcoming hosts, a beautiful environment in the middle of the rainforest with well adorned rooms and great amenities, this is by far the best accommodation I have stayed in in Australia. With trails leading into the forest, a lagoon to swim in, and a beautiful river right outside your door, you won't want to leave this place! The owners care very much about your comfort and well being and will go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Couldn't be happier with my stay here!

Wretched owner. Horrible surly woman. Obviously a money grabber. My heavily pregnant sister couldn't make it today and we found this out just before we lost reception on our 2 hr journey to get there. Told reception soon as we arrived and were told off by a woman on a power trip. All she cared about was making money on that empty seat. Finally got past that and were seated at a flimsy makeshift table, with heavily food stained table cloths and chairs that would barely support a large child, not to mention fully grown adult. When asking politely if we could please change chairs or table before other guests arrive (for the 3 people who had bad backs in our lunch party) we were rudely told NO! Basically told we were bad customers, given our money back and sent on our way. Would like a refund for the 4 hours travel time to get there then be turned away and go home. What an appalling experience, horrible lady, unwelcome experience and hope she fails miserably. Shame for such a peaceful atmosphere to have such a nasty, spiteful and hateful human being representing it.

We walked in ready to have lunch which we booked 1 month in advance. We paid and were shown our table for a mothers day lunch. We were shown to a dirty table with flimsy $6 junk shop plastic chairs. We had 3 people with bad backs so we asked for better chairs or a different table. We were told it cannot be done. What?. The table cloth was dirty as well. We were down 1 adult and 1 child than we booked for. We were spoken to quite rudely and told "thanks for ringing ahead we have turned bookings away" we had this booking for at least a month before. The lady who cannot make our booking today is my sister and she is heavily pregnant. Unfortunately unable to travel today.
To be greated so rudely and to not be seated comfortably after traveling about a 2 hr round trip to get there. WE LEFT absolutely appalled.. We will never go back there.
Recommend never going there and telling friends to stay far far away. Rude and horrible people.response / report this review -

Surly greeting when we rang and was then told that the deals were online and we should book online - even though we were actually SPEAKING to them and obviously wanted to book. Not going to now. If they treat customers like this BEFORE they even book, what will they be like when staying there????
