Went to get my car serviced this morning at the dealership. Prior to today I was told it would be my final capped service which is $185, so I booked the appointment and budgeted for that When I got there they said it was actually $285 & I don't have capped service pricing anymore. They made a mistake, and didn't even apologise or even offer to service my car at the original price I confirmed on the phone before booking the appointment!!! They didn't even call me to tell me about their mistake, instead I still drove there and waited for no reason and wasted my time.

Have been liaising with Allen Wilson now for about two weeks. He has been an excellent source of knowledge and of great assistance in purchasing my new Holden and traiding in my old Holden. Defiantly will do business with Gerald Slaven Holden again. Very happy customer.

There appears to be a communication problem with their webforms; on two occasions I specified parts/work that needed doing and both times it was ignored. Recent servicing also failed to pick up on an aged and failing battery as well as cracking coolant hose, both of which died within a few weeks of the service and left me needing a tow. Makes me wonder whether they actually do any of the checks they charge for. On the plus side, they gave us two tyres at cost price because we waited all day.

Would highly recommend Daniel and the team at Gerald Slaven Holden Belconnen, definitely the most helpful salesman I have come across. I purchased a new Holden SV6 Ute very happy with my purchase, will definitely be back to purchase another car in the future. Thanks so much it was a pleasure dealing with you!

Thanks Dallas, James and the team! We love our new cars. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff are honest, friendly and reliable. They made us feel like royalty and never once made us feel like we were a hindrance, even with all the questions and test drives. I highly reccomend GSH.

They seemingly tried to scam me by claiming my car had hail damage and that they would need to repaint the roof to sell it, as the only owner since new I know it doesn't. They subsequently offered less than half lowest offer elsewhere.

3 yrs ago I made a visit here to look for an SS Commodore or a newer model SV6. The sales woman made some calculations then told me that I would not be able to afford the repayments and suggested I buy a cheaper car.
I went straight to Subaru and picked up a WRX around the same price and had the car payed off within two years. So much for not being able to afford what I wanted!
Fast forward to last week. I called this dealership (and the one in Phillip) simply wanting to know if they had any used VF SS Commodores. I gave my number to both dealerships and was told someone would return my call.
I haven't heard anything from anyone from either of these dealerships.
Looks like I'm buying another Subaru👍 Cheers for making the decision easy.response / report this review -

Allan from Gerald Slaven was excellent. He listened to my concerns and what I needed. He responded quickly and in a friendly manner. There was no pressure to "close the deal". I felt supported through every part of the process. I would highly recommend this dealership.

Perfect from start to finish! Walked in on the Saturday was greeted immediately, then introduced to Ray, who then took me for a test drive in the V6 Commodore. 5 days later I had a new car. They made the entire process stress free and easy to understand from Finance with Josh all the way to detailing and everything in-between. Wonderful experience for a first time new car buyer. So many questions were asked and answered without hesitation.
