Rude reception stuff. I had a problem with the invoice and was asking about Pathology (that where the invoice should come from) and the receptionist told me to "google it". In a second call I was asked "why do I need that", after explaining the situation I was finally able to get a phone number to Pathology.

Would never set my foot in that clinic if not for Dr Vantsos who is incredibly helpful and one of the best doctors.

One of the receptionist is horribly rude - both on phone and in person. Unwilling to listen to a patient’s needs. All she cared for was to ask patients to go in and swipe cards.

This place is more expensive than other doctors, but I find the price is worth it. Some of the most knowledgeable and thorough doctors I have visited. I was having a problem that I visited my local GP on a number of times, with the GP only telling me "well the test for an infection was clear but we can test again". The doctor at George Street medical did a proper examination and arranged an ultrasound which properly diagnosed the issue. I always pay the extra to go here whenever I need to see a doctor for anything outside of a standard head cold

The online booking system is great and I can get an appointment at short notice. It's also really convenient having pathology on the same floor. I have found most of the reception staff to be really lovely and helpful. However, there is one receptionist who I know is the reason for all the negative reviews on here. She's very unpleasant to deal with.

DO NOT give George St Medical Centre your mobile number as they will misuse your personal details The practice has been sending me spam text messages at 1am in the morning advertising flu vaccines, which I have 'OPT Out of'. Be aware of these guys.

I have found the reception staff and doctors to be among some of the most professional people I have dealt with. Reception staff are always pleasant & accomodating where possible. The doctors I have seen have been thorough and patient in explaining issues and treatments. Could not recommend them highly enough. I have been a patient for 7 years.

Was not informed there was no bulk billing. Got slugged $90 for consultation fee.

All the doctor asked was "Are you allergic to anything" BAM! $90 for 5mins.

Was told by front staff I can get $80 back from medicare. Instead got $32.

Also was told I can claim most of the vaccines from private health. I got $8 from a $45 vaccine. Thats barely covered, not "Mostly" covered.

Booked appointment for 1:30 and waited till 2:10. If I'm going to pay $90 for service, you'd expect promptness.

Preparing a HCCC complaint because they did not inform me of the fee structure till after.

Overall my local GP that does not charge $90 consultation fee, does a far better job and service. I don't know why this shop exists.Perhaps it's location and it's targetting international travellers.

Feel completely out of pocket right now.
