After a $1000 service, my Hilux developed a noise behind the dash. This noise only appeared AFTER my initial expensive service and was present on the trip home from the service centre.
When I returned to the dealership to have the noise fixed, I was charged $150 in labour and the noise is now worse than before. No parts were replaced.
I've been taking my ute here for 10+ years, but I'd never return now. I can no longer be confident that the work done here, will not generate new problems that I will be charged additional money to (not) fix.
Edit: Was contacted my Craig Tickner, dealer principal of Galleria Toyota, shortly after posting my initial review. He spoke with empathy regarding my recent dealings and was very amicable in trying to find a solution to my dissatisfaction, offering to refund the $150 service fee from the subsequent noise investigation. It was pleasing to experience 'old fashion' customer service and reciprocal loyalty to a long-term customer. Thank you Craig for restoring my faith in Galleria Toyota Morley.
I never write reviews but this encounter was too much. I found Nemo rather hostile. Tried to explain a situation, he kept trying to talk over me, his voice became elevated even going so far as to say that it’s my problem that I’m choosing to be offended, which I’ll admit, pissed me off. Funnily enough, when another staff member helped me and heard me out, then properly explained a few of TG reasoning on point but clearly and CALMLY, though I didn’t like it, I was able to understand and accept the reason. I can be a reasonable person when I’m being spoken to reasonably. However, Nemos attitude was just too much, I’m even thinking of foregoing any future service obligation I may still have with TG. I’m not going to be recommending TG because of him. Every other person who’s helped me previously have been nice, friendly and approachable enough though.
EDIT: too little too late guys. It started with you guys selling a lemon of a car riddled with issues and allegedly all not covered by my warranty that your sales team successfully sold me which I now very much regret as it seems like absolutely no point to be forced to service with you guys where it costs more compared to everywhere else. Tyres alone have cost me over $1000 in the space of 2yrs for preexisitng conditions - how you guys sold me a car. No accountability, no apologies of hidden costs for used cars. Couldn’t agree more with the other negative comments. Buy a car from your place, ppl should be taking independent mechanics with them. biggest rip off ever. The issues are endless. I have never been so stressed out so much ever. Now waiting on some paperwork from you guys, not holding my breath though (been already a week).
Toyota really know the value of good customer service. Always a pleasure to visit.
When I first came in to look at a 2010 Honda Civic, the salesman (I wont state his name on here) was very nice and welcoming - offering to show us any car we wanted and answer most questions we had.
Since I thought the car looked great, I asked the salesman if it was okay if I got the car inspected independently; he spouted some stuff about it being "unnecessary" and how every car goes through a "100 point test" or something. I naturally booked the car in for an inspection the next day.
I brought my dad and brother in with me to stop the salesman distracting me while I listened to the mechanic's opinions.
Everything was going great and looked near perfect! Until the mechanic looked under the car and found a huge dent in the subframe, the car must have crashed into something solid and >45km/h.
After the mechanic found that we asked the salesman what was the go with it, he started saying that he didnt know about that dent and he would get a higher-up.
When the higher-up did come, he started started giving what seemed like a total BS excuse about how some cars aren't checked because they are so busy and have a backlog of cars to check. They said nothing of this before I found the issue! The car even had a "cleared inspection" sticked on the windshield!
All-in-all ALWAYS get the car inspected - you never know whats wrong with it - and be very hesitant to trust any of the salespeople at toyota galleria. They cost me valuable time and money, and would have inevitably cost me alot more if I hadnt found that glaring issue.
Can only speak for parts department. Willing and helpful staff, but they stock very little by way of parts. Nearly everything has to come from the warehouse or ex-East.
I had issues with my car after a service, however Brad the service manager and the folks at Galleria Toyota went above and beyond to rectify the issue in the best possible way.
The good thing is Toyota Australia also contributed, The brand still the best brand out there. A brand that you can always trust with a great team behind it when you need them the most.
Looking forward for my next service/Purchase.
Booked car in for airbag recall check. All went smoothly, no complaints. Realised afterwards that I had accidentally come a day early! Oops. The service staff didn't even mention my mistake. No 'sorry Madam but your booking is for tomorrow'. Just coolly carried on and did my car anyway! Wow. Thanks so much. 😊
Our experience with Galleria Toyota has been nothing less than awesome!
Chris Hardy, Adam Jackson and Yusof were just wonderful. Their product knowledge and customer service were exceptional.
"We strive to exceed your expectation" was definitely delivered!!

I have been having problems with my FJ navigation system for over a year now. When I got the last service done on my car, I mentioned about this problem and was told they would be replacing the navigation system as my car was still under warranty. It has been almost a year now and I have never ever (not even when phoning them and being told that someone would call me back) received any calls in regards to the new one. Every time I phone them, no one knows what I am speaking about. Second problem came when I last booked my FJ for service on a Saturday and when I got there I was told that for a major service half of a day would not be enough. They quickly found me a spare car that I used on that morning but the service that was supposed to last more than half of a day was completed in 4 hours. After this, I had to take my car back to them for a couple of times due to steering wheel shaking when reaching 100km/hour. Very poor customer service but incredibly good manufacturer.
I was most fortunate to buy new Camry from Dean Buswell. Dean was most helpful in selection exterior colour along with the interior finish. More importantly Dean was able to assist with the hi tech part of the purchase being telephone connection, and blue tooth technology. I would highly recommend Dean to my family, friends and work colleagues should they intend to purchase a vehicle from Toyota Galleria.
I recently took my car in for a service at the galleria Toyota and was greeted by a very friendly team member named Mike turner. Mike really looked after me and explained thoroughly what was being done to my car and what differences it would make going forward. He also noticed a couple of things that were very minor and helped resolve them. Very happy with my service here and will be bringing my car here in the future.
I had the pleasure purchasing my new car through Dean Buswell, being female and not so car savvy Dean was extremely helpful & full of knowledge.
I can say I would 100% recommend him to anyone.
His follow up service was great as well, It’s nice to see they care at Galleria Toyota.
Great Job
I brought a car at Galleria Toyota recently and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The whole team there were great! The salesman Dean Buswell in particular was very professional, knowledgeable and looked after me through the whole process. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking at purchasing a vehicle to pop into Galleria Toyota and make sure you have a chat to Dean. See you next time, thanks Dean!
