A fantastic location with ocean views, the same can not be said about the service which is lacking at best. We visited this spot for a simple bacon and egg breakfast. Despite staff outnumbering guests our meals were not served at the same time so we both had to eat alone. No apology from staff after enquiring where our second meal was, it's as if management has dispensed with friendly service instead relying on tourist churn for business.

I definitely won’t be coming back! These chefs need to learn how to cook, I could see them laughing in the kitchen looking at me as I sent the food back very unprofessional and extremely disappointing I ordered a medium rare steak, when arrived at the table I took a bite and could barely swollow it, way to over cooked, I then told the waitress, as she couldn’t care less, then the new steak came out it was completely raw inside very blue the second waitress then said that’s ok that’s how I eat it! And my impression was she tried to get me to keep it, So then I walked straight out, terrible customer service, horrible food I wonder why there was only one other family in the whole restaurant! It shows, and looking at all the bad reviews, not many positive ones.
lunicos trinity beach Is a thousand times better! Food and customer service So I went and had a lovely dinner there.

Sooooo overpriced. Very small servings and i mean small. Too long for service and chairs were to hard to sit on. Will not be going back.

We walked out after being spoken to rudely by a waiter. We arrived at 1125. When I asked if we could order lunch was told "lunch isn't until 12 madam and you've got 5 minutes to order if you want breakfast". Italian hospitality? NOT. This is how it's done - "Sit down, have a juice or a coffee and let us finish with breakfast service and then we will be happy to show you our lunch menu."

The gentleman who served me was less than friendly. The view is amazing but come on! $8.50 for ONE SCONE? I have traveled Australia and this is by far the dearest scone i have found. The coffee was very strong even though i ordered half strength. Not normally negative. But i found $27 for 2 coffees and 2 scones ridiculous!

Overall experience was pretty average, coffee was shocking, to the point of undrinkable! The barista should acknowledge arriving guests as he appeared to be the first point of contact with entering customers. We understand it can be crazy busy on the coffee machine, so maybe nominate a staff member whose sole purpose is to meet, greet and sit guests. That way he can get on with his job of making coffees without being interrupted every 30 seconds! We were told quite unapologetically that we would have to wait 15-20 mins for two takeaway coffees earlier this week, not sure why this is, never had to wait that long for coffee in and cafe before. They should look at ways to make their coffee making process more efficient. They could always add another person on the machine one making coffee shots, the other frothing milk, lots of other places use this method. We were surprised to find that they are using a Melbourne based coffee roaster Genovese. There are so many fantastic, local coffee roasters available up here, such as the tattooed sailor and blackbird espresso. We have had both and thought they were excellent!! Should perhaps look into to using one of these! Waitresses however were lovely. They could have done with a couple more of them on the floor as there were only two, and one of them was still in training, thus service was a little slow. Food was okay, nothing special.

Delicious well-priced food. And friendly staff that had plenty of patience with children during the busy school holidays. We went twice for lunch, and a couple of times for coffee. Food was excellent. There's even a box of distractions and cards for the kids to play with. Would definitely recommend :)
