What a find! When visiting small coastal or inland towns, it is certain you will find an nice hotel/pub lunch at the local hotel. Flinders Hotel however was way above the normal standard. Definately worth the drive.

Food was great, ordered chips and a burger.
they had a nice spin on the burger and the chips were amazing but have to take a point off for the ~$26 price tag thats unreasonable to most people for a 'pub' style meal.

beautiful ambiance in a remote location but dont expect any cheap meals or a lack of harleys flaunting their loud exhausts.

A great spot for a Parma and a bottle of cider. Park your car and walk about a 100m up the hill for a beautiful view

Stayed the night at the quarters which was just lovely. Had dinner at the Deck, the salmon and duck were spot on and the crew brulee a star. Brekky at George Bass was the ham hock muffin, again a winner. Great value for money and a very easy, luxurious and relaxing experience. Will be back again some day.

Our group of 5 highly recommend the Flinders Hotel. We celebrated a special birthday at the Flinders' Hotel on 19 April, 2017. Our group of 5 enjoyed 3 courses, and each course elicited rave reviews from us all. My husband is a coeliac, and was provided with a separate menu listing all the options he could enjoy. The variety is extensive, and you can have the usual hotel options, or do as we did and select choices that you would normally expect to see in a fine dining restaurant. We all came away from a wonderful afternoon, attentive service by the lovely Grace, and vowing to return. Next booking made for my husband's birthday in May already.

    Extremely extremely dissapointed.
Prior to booking I called up to ask about the buffet breakfast and the receptionist went on and on about it, said it was a main attraction. When we got there it was all cold standard food. Toast, fruit, cereal, which was all average in taste. NO HOT FOOD! Only at an additional charge will you get hot food, even then they only had 3 hot food items on their menu. What kind of buffet breakfast is that? The main reason I chose that hotel was because of the review I got over the phone of the buffet breakfast. Will never return.

We stayed here in one of the upper floor suites on the night of our wedding and the staff were wonderful, leaving us champagne on ice, a lovely card, and arrangements for a late check in. Rooms were massive with excellent facilities, would recommend to anyone.

This joint is a shadow of it's former self. The food is expensive and underwhelming. It's hit and miss with the service. There are better options around, which is a shame really.

Lovely decor, good food, and even though it was very busy the staff worked well together and to my amazement had our meal ready in about 15 minutes. They even had our special orders correct!
What impressed me most was the great accoustics. Even though the place was full we could easily hear each other without needing to shout.
