Majority of all the patrons are general access yet the facilities being upgraded are heavily leaning towards pleasing the high rollers. I would avoid and go anywhere else and watch the races from the TAB. Us and many others could not even see the course due to the horrific layout of general access. Drinks were hard to obtain also with all bars being packed. Painful. Please note this applied to the Melbourne cup carnival.

I love the place at Spring Carnival time. But it's an absolute disgrace on Melbourne Cup Day. Not the fault of Flemington RC, and there's no way to avoid it. I also think more public seating is desperately required. But it's a world class venue that becomes a world class disgrace at the hands of the casual punter on Melbourne Cup Day.

Melbourne cup race days are always great here. I've been in the Makybe Diva Marquee twice now and absolutely loved it. Great venue, great food and love the pamper room for the ladies.

For nearly 10 years now I've been lucky enough to attend at least 1 day of racing with my parents in the Panorama Room. Every year the food & atmosphere receive a passing grade, but the thing I like most us the convenience of having the TAB facilities at the back of the room. Patrons are able to eat, drink, bet and sit in the stands without having to walk more than 50 steps! 🐴👍

The Atrium is the perfect place to hold a function or awards night with fantastic waiting staff with a great selection of beers, wines and soft drinks as well as delicious food.

I first ever went here to the Flemington Racetrack Courses in Melbourne on 29-9-2017. This is where the Melbourne Cup race is every year in November. Giddy up horses !

Flemington is beautiful with all the roses and well manicured lawns. During race season especially Melbourne Cup, there is so much that happens and so many different types of entry to the Cup. There are facilities for everyone and disabled parking is very good. Flemington is not just used for the races but a variety of of other events throughout the year and, it is located right next-door to the Royal Melbourne Show Grounds.
The train stops outside the gates of Flemington race course and the show grounds from the city. It returns back to Flinders Street Station in the city and has connecting trains on all other lines. There is also trams to Flemington so transport should not be a problem.
Flemington is being upgraded and has been upgraded and changed in some areas if only for the Melbourne Cup.
I have found that you can take your own food into the races if you want and save on money. Make sure you dress to there dress code or you won't be allowed in. Have a fantastic time at Flemington!

Probably my favourite place on the planet. My goal in life is to win a Melbourne Cup - so it goes without saying that i LOVE Flemington. I have been to race tracks all over the world and this place is still the most magical and inspirational race track in the world.

Chairmans Lounge - simply superb facilities - id give it 6 stars if I could. Food is world class, one of the best wine lists in Melbourne and the view - we'll see for yourself below !!

Great area for events and plenty of staff to direct you to your event. Would be great to have a shuttle bus from the tram stop to the event as it can be a long walk if you traveling via PT and are disabled or older.
Parking is pretty good but it can bank up for those really big event.
Great when they run the trains as that goes straight into the event area.

Great for a day out if you like the races. VIP is fabulous if you can get in there. Placing bets is easy. Queues to food and bets are usually fast.
