  Really liked the fresh fish and chips
  All the smokers from the duxton 2 feet away lighting their fags and getting a face full of smoke means I wouldn't choose to eat here again. Get rid of the smokers. It's a place to eat and illegal to have smokers there!

  Why do they let smokers from the Duxton smoke right out the front of their shop? I guess it's OK if you're just dropping by for a quick takeaway pickup. But don't hang around if you want to save your lungs.

  Some days it is great, some days it is terrible. My last experience involved receiving one piece of my order at a time over 20 minutes. Sweet potato chips after 10 minutes, 1st pizza after 15 minutes and last pizza after 20 minutes. You wont be surprised to learn that the chips and 1st pizza were cold by the time I walked home.

  We have given Flatheads a number of trials which have all been disappointing the 3rd strike was an undercooked burger and fish that was definitely not fresh and was afraid to eat it. I want to like this place but keep getting let down.

  Disgusting: I ordered Flatheads from Deliveroo and I had to say that is one of worst meal I ever had in Canberra. The fisherman's basket came with yellow-ish stale oysters and non-seasoned fish and chips; the parmesan roast potato wasn't properly cooked and I suspected they were all sprouted, tasted bitter, sour, and lumpy. The food left me with a disgusting taste in the mouth which then I had to drink so much water and orange juice to wash it away.

  Nice selection of salads and savoury pastries, plus larger meals like fish and chips and burgers. Stays open till late so it's a great option for late night take away. However, as it's meant for takeaway, you can't get any proper plates or cultery if you choose to eat in. Everything is plastic.

  Coffee is consistently amazing. Pastries are so very edible. Service is quick and friendly. Very happy this is the nearest coffee shop to work!

  Good coffee. Ouside seating. No inside seating except within the adjoining Duxton hotel. Excellent for using Telstra Air WiFi hotspot. Parking can be difficult. Excellent opening hours. Popular for takeaway
