Views are incredible but left feeling anything but relaxed after waiting more than 30 minutes for them to get a (pre-made) scone from the cupboard and heat it up.

Worst restaurant experience. Meal was served cold. Promised 5 minute replacement - after partner had finished his meal. Asked for a refund and cancel the order, as mine still wasn't cooked - grilled fish doesn't take that long to cook!!!!
No refund would be given. After abuse from the manager. She offered a voucher. As if I would want to go back. What a joke.

Beautiful location with stunning views. Friendly staff and good food. Plenty of searching inside and outside. Be sure to book ahead though. It's a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.

Was a favourite hangout of mine when I lived in Mackay and is still as beautiful as I remember after my recent visit. Very scenic when dining outdoors and a good selection of food, desserts and beverages.

Worth it just for the views - amazing location with a fabulous view out over the water and islands. The food is pretty good too. I'd recommend the seafood - it's always very good and matches the sea view nicely. They do more than just seafood too, and good cakes.
