Delicious food. Music pretty loud for a Monday. Lovely service though.
Four of us had a very enjoyable breakfast here. Two small complaints. Music was a bit loud for us as we were having a catch up and trying to talk over the music. The other complaint which went for a couple of other places around Geelong - no flavourings for coffees. My daughter and I enjoy caramel and vanilla lattes and we didn't have that problem during a month of touring NZ.
Expensive calamari salad for what you get lots of salad though!
Angus burger was awesome, but the drinks were pricey too and as for the "live music" Well let's just say if the "artist" was performing as we walked in the door, we would not have stayed long. Unfortunately we had to bear with it until we finished our meals. Sorry but 3 is the very best I can rate you and that's only because the burger was outstanding.
Worst food i have ever had! It was way over priced, cold, flavourless and the serving was really small! Also very poor service. Highly recommend trying any of the other restaurants along the waterfront instead of this one.
How anyone can screw up toast eludes me. But its so dry and soggy its almost uncuttable they should probably serve it with a saw instead of a knife. The scrambled eggs were below average, without a drink to rinse my mouth it may even have covered blandly inedible. Surprising bad breakfast. Sad because the location and venue are great.
If as much effort was put into flavour as decorating the coffee it may have been tolerable but it was awful. Worse than awful it leaves a bad taste.
The orange juice whilst tasty was half ice. Value for money is questionable. Staff could be a little more customer service aware.
I had been reluctant to visit Edge having not heard great things only to regret giving it a chance.
Good food, good staff, great beer range and prices
Food was very nice besides the bread and dip. 2 dips and pretty much hard toast. Not worth getting if you ask me. Lovely staff though
Great food menu & plenty of drinks on the bar menu. Friendly bar staff for such a busy place. Great place for a small function with a sectioned off area.
Favourite place in geelong to go with colleagues. Burgher is the way to go. Caramelised onions with a reduction of burbon are to die for. Location is perfect, you can't miss it in the waterfront. Good coffee and good selection of beer. Service is intermittent, some times is fantastic but sometimes is disappointed with forgotten orders
Went here for dinner first time a few months back and got told the front heaters weren't working, recently back in Geelong we visited again and got told the same thing.
The lady behind the bar was polite but she gave us a serving disk to take the drinks to the table ourselves and then we had our drinks taken back due to a fault with the machine. Good to earn experience in hospitality while dining.
Out of the four mains 2 were delightful the rest were just below ok.
Way to expensive for the service we got.
Live music added a nice tone to our night.
Not a bad place to go but should be more pub "themed" and priced.
Good food, but not sure what I did to warrant the attitude from the girl who took my order. Maybe someone should remind her is morning breakfast crowd, not Friday night drinking crowd. Your miserable attitude is the last thing I want when spending my morning eating a $75 breakfast thanks
I love the plates here and the look of the food but not it's taste nor the service/price
Absolutely wonderful location overlooking the waterfront! Perfect for a first date, with live music, a cozy feel, and great service
Busy place! Food is average. Great location, lovely views nice in summer. Can be a wait for food but expected. Love furphy on tap.
Very quick service, beautiful food, well presented - and lots of it! Best night out in a long time! Not an Instagram type - but I wanted to take photos?! Loved it, loved it! My partner and I fell in love, and we fell deeper again!
