All of Italo's pizzas are beautiful. A thin crust baked to perfection the traditional Italian way.

They still serve the more formal Pear Café fare on weekends. They are focused on handmade pizza during weekdays, though.

They are owned by the same person as before. Only the name has changed.

Awesome little shop in the heart of Torquay. The pizza is up to italian standard, quality ingredients and lovely staff. Well done Italo, great experience!!!

The staff were sweet and the tea good and strong, but the food was terrible. The omelette I ordered was a complete wreck - the filling was just slopped in in large chunks which made the whole thing fall apart. Smothering it in cheese didn't help. Edible but pretty basic.

Always busy, expect a wait time for your coffee but it's worth it. Coffee and staff are fantastic. Great little boutique cafe.

Upon entering cafe staff were not really interested in serving us. More interested in talking to each other. No meet and greet. Coffee was good
but staff member on delivering our coffees was disgusting. No manners what so ever. A smile and a hello cost nothing but inability can cost you a lot. Upon departure there was once again no farewell. Staff were just standing around talking to each other. One of the staff stood inside the cafe doorway having a cigarette. Absolutely disappointed. Wonder if the owner knows this is happening. Wont be back again.

Had a stop over in Torquay Thursday night and felt like Italian. Tried their special pan fried chicken with capers, olives and tomato - superb, best meal I've had the pleasure in eating for a long time and the service was great as well. Thank you to the chef and the waitress.
