After recently moving from Canberra to Brisbane I was looking for an organic hair salon, preferably north side. I also have a 16 week old, so I was looking for a mum and bub supportive salon and this was definitely it. A lovely, quiet old dog was resting on his bed by the entrance and I was instantly welcomed by a feeling of calmness through the incense and relaxing music. The stylist sat with me and we went through colours and style cut before she came back with a quote, which was very reasonable. I have thick curly hair, that the hairdresser was able to tame. The wash was relaxing, colour was exactly as I wanted and the cut as I requested, with some of the weight taken out. I felt comfortable to feed my baby and I didn't feel pressured when I needed to settle her. I will definitely return and highly recommend :)

Carmen seemed very thorough and experienced. I was happy with the service but found the prices quite high in comparison to some other suburban hairdressers I’ve been to. I have a short bob and half head of foils, cut and bond treatment came to $405.

EDIT: For full transparency - I called Carmen after her response to my review and she informed me that they did in fact do 48 foils (which I didn't know) and they regard that as a full head of foils. She said I was still only charged for a half head of foils therefore $405 is their price for a half head of foils, bond treatment, trim and dry off on just below chin length hair.
