We came in last night because our beautiful Ronnie was sneezing to no end and it was starting to really worry us as her mouth was foaming and she started sneezing blood, too
The wait was a little long (but it's understandable as there were a lot of people in there) but as soon as we were seen, they explained that it was likely that something was stuck in her nose, so they put her under anesthetic and had a look
Lo and behold, she had what looked to be about a 2 inch long grass seed lodged in her nose!
If it wasn't for the wonderful vets and nurses here, this could've been much worse for us, thank you so much to you all!!response / report this review -

I can not thank the staff at EVH enough.
We had our cat stay with them for a number of days in their oxygen chamber as he was struggling to breathe. We were in absolute of awe of how friendly and compassionate each of the staff members were.
They happily allowed us to visit our sick pet during his stay and were more than happy to answer our questions and give us regular updates on how he was doing.
Thanks to the amazing team at EVH we can gratefully say that our kitty is now home, comfortable and stable while living with heart failure.

I just cannot speak highly enough of this place. We turned up at 6pm on a Saturday evening worried sick about our fur baby. The receptionist was kind, professional and helpful and we were with a vet, Courtney McGrath, in about ten minutes. Courtney was absolutely fantastic, she was so kind and caring to our dog Molly, she took such personal care with her, cleaning her up and then quickly and correctly diagnosing the problem and the necessary treatment. For the whole experience we paid about half what we had paid a day before to another vet in ordinary working hours who had completely missed the problem. Molly was almost instantly better that night. Since then we have had a few concerns and each time we have been able to ring up and get the necessary information/reassurance almost immediately from staff on the desk. As I said, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you EVH, and thank you Courtney for your skill, your professionalism, and your kindness.

A very big thank you to all of the staff last night who worked so hard to try and save our dog Rocky. Words can not describe, and there are not enough stars to rate your professionalism, compassion, and caring of the whole team towards the treatment of our much loved pet and to our family for the high emotional feelings due to the unfortunate outcome. You are all super stars. Thank you for giving it your all, and trying so hard to save him. Well done, keep up the fantastic work.

I can’t speak highly enough about the kind and professional customer service Buddy and I received. Thank you so much! Buddy had a grass seed stuck up his nostril and could not stop sneezing. On a Sunday I phoned and they said to bring him in. Buddy is a strong, ten month old Lab and it took three of us to get him to stay still long enough to inject him for a ten minute sleep.I must have looked upset after the ordeal lol. I was quickly offered a chair and a ice cold water.💙 Within a few minutes they had the large grass seed removed. The price was very fair and not with a big Sunday surcharge!
Buddy was back to his old self within an hour.
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending these lovely people to take care of your pet and you!

Today we had to say goodbye to our beautiful Molly cat and I can honestly say that I have never met a more wonderful vet and nurse who understood us and our Molly to a t. They gave us all the time and space we needed as well as a fantastic bed side manner. And I really can't thank Steve enough for not asking for payment before the awful end. They made a tragic day a much easier day. Thank you both.

We recently, Queen's Birthday 2017, had the distressing experience of our beloved family dog Gracie needing to be euthanased. I can't praise Steve and Sue highly enough for their professionalism and care, but most of all for their sensitivity to our loss and their amazing compassion. Thank YOU. Paul and Marion and Mala

Thank you so much for your care and empathy when we had to say goodbye to our Rhodesian Ridgeback Tank (Sunday 17/9/17) in the early hours of the morning after he became very unwell.
I can't remember the name of the vet we saw, but I just want to say that your professionalism was very commendable, giving us as much time as we needed to spend with Tank, before, during and after the procedure. Then afterwards saving us the stress of contacting our regular vet, and also notifying Lawnswood Pet Cremation in advance.

A massive thank you to the brilliant team at EVH Wangara who took such loving care of our 2 year old female Golden Retriever Ally a few weeks ago. Ally had to have 2 major operations within a couple of days. The first operation took nearly 4 hours with 2 vets attending. The first was to remove blockages in her stomach and in several areas of her lower intestines. The foreign objects included bits of reticulation, a clothes peg, elastic band and pieces of a pull toy Ally had decided to chew and ingest. The second operation was to eradicate a serious post operation infection which had set in causing her temperature to skyrocket. Ally spent 3 nights in the loving care of EVH team recovering from both operations before going on to make a full recovery from her ordeal. We cannot thank the team at EVH for going above and beyond in their efforts to care for Ally and to keep us informed, as to her condition whilst in their care. It was especially touching that they took the time to phone us a few days after she came home to check on her progress. Ally has now fully recovered but we came so close to losing her. If we have learned anything from this ordeal it is to watch what your pets are eating, to have Pet Insurance (thankfully we did have it) and should you ever need them - trust the team at EVH Wangara to care for your beloved pet.

You guys are amazing! I took my "fur baby", Rosco, in last night as he was showing some very distressing symptoms and it was quite worrying, to say the least! Aaron was brilliant - keeping me up to date all night and putting my mind ease that Rosco was in the best hands he couldve been in and they were doing everything they could! I collected a very different dog this morning, he is not out of the woods but i truly believe that Aaron saved his life last night, thank you so much! And Steve was as caring and attentive this morning. Thank you both and all the nurses that assisted in caring for my little guy! - Lisa Whittle

We have just left EVH and cannot express enough how wonderful they are. Steve the vet was incredible. Our Labrador ate a packet of rat sack and of course we immediately panicked! Steve explained the process thoroughly and put me at ease. Thank you EVH for saving our baby! You guys are great, hopefully you'll be open for regular visits so we can come again! Keep up the fantastic work :)
