Absolutely love it! So huge, staff are so friendly, book range is great and cafe is nice! Prices are a little expensive compared to some places (Big W, Kmart, Target, etc.), but for a book store pretty much average!

Its okay I mean just saying it's good and all giant bookshop on Collins street in Melbourne Australia! Also that my friends and dad are fascinated with the place

I found the store to be really easy to navigate and find the titles I was looking for. I visited the information desk to find out about ordering in a few titles. The staff member was very helpful and able to locate what I was after quickly and order it in.
The store has a surprisingly large selection of titles, as I had to go downstairs to access it I half expected it to be a smaller collection so it was a good surprise.response / report this review -

I rejoiced when I found this large bookstore after the tragic closure of Borders. However, unlike the dearly departed Borders, it lacks little reading nooks to allow readers to peruse the books. If it had that it would be just about perfect for me. As it is I find I am in the way of others if I stop at the shelves for any length of time as it is a popular store. Love the blank journals and card and gift ranges here too. So close to five stars.

Great bookshop, full of books, they have a lot of books, if you like books, then I'm sure this bookshop will have the right book for you, if you're looking for books I couldn't recommend any other bookshop to buy books from because these guys, they got lots of books.

Best bookshop in Melbourne. They have something for everyone, and if you're after a specific book the helpful and friendly staff are happy to order it in for you.
Also, the adjoining cafe is a great spot to settle down and enjoy a warm drink or snack with your new book.response / report this review -

Always delighted to visit this store often. The staff at the Information Desk are extremely helpful and efficient with orders. There is a great layout in the store with informative comments by staff attached to some books. On one occasion I was looking for a gift for a young reader and the staff member was able to provide me with a number of popular recommendations. And when you pay for your purchases the staff are again friendly and efficient. Bookshops should be this good!

Great large bookstore with a big selection; a real treat in this internet age. Usually pretty busy on weekends, but maintains that bookstore quiet. Has a lot of that non-book stuff, as many do, but they keep it off near the registers.

An amazing store with wonderful, friendly staff and a brilliant selection. This is my favourite bookstore in Melbourne and I make an effort to pop in as frequently as possible. I've attended numerous events and book launches hosted onsite and they have always been entertaining and well-run. I can't wait to go back.
