We went to 'The Atlantic', which was "fine dining" and priced appropriately (mains maybe maybe around $55/80). Food/atmosphere was definitely good, but none of it stuck out as being particularly stellar.
Being part of the casino complex, it also all kinda has the aftertaste of James Packer's wallet, which doesn't go too well with seafood.
Nice casino with some fun bars and food options.
Tried the schnitzel restaurant which seems always busy, however has fast turn over and they call when there is a table ready.
Generally good, however a tad understaffed on the night. Also, although my steak was v good, the other 2 at our table, although good quality, were a fair way over done.
Id go back for a casual feed.
Wow what an awesome experience. Saw the eagles cover band and Linda Ronstadt experience. Such a beautiful and relaxed place at the Palms. We sat at a booth and was amazed at how close we were to the stage. The toilets were so clean and even had an air freshener in the toilet cubicle if you do a number two 😁😁 we had dinner from the food court and cocktails at the bar. Yep bloody fantastic time.
We went to Crown to use the spa and have lunch at one of the nice restaurants. The experience and facilities were amazing. Opulent is a fair description. The masseurs were incredibly skilled. Lost one star only because the reception staff at the spa didn't give out as much information as I'd have liked so we were a bit confused at first, plus I am conflicted about recommending a casino.
Great place for shopping, dining, entertainment and of course gambling. Amazing interiors. Good hotels, cafes, restaurants all within the complex. Food court is usually a little overcrowded but who cares its still good fun to hang out at. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Melbourne!
