We had breakfast and dinner. The meals were wonderful and the staff ere very nice. The rooms were clean but a bit small even for deluxe rooms. The room facilities see a bit old. But alder all it is worth coming back.

I appreciated the move from the standard room that was not working with poor heating and electric blanket not working and no wifi. The deluxe room bed was no good for me as it was too short - I'm 5 feet 9 inches - and although warmer and nicer every time the guests upstairs over my head walked it sounded like a footie game crash tackle - I think it was just walking but after getting to sleep and being woken in a start, I'd had enough of sleep issues so I checked out at midnight.

Great golf, good food, friendly staff, good amenities, within 2hrs of Sydney. Rooms minimal, efficient and suitable for 3. I stayed in Deluxe. Yes room styling is/are dated, but this is the charm of the place. You go there to play golf, drink at the well stocked bar, eat at the good food restaurant sleep then do it again
Downers. Rooms can get Bloody hot, no air-conditioning in rooms. A pool could go a long way for a swim after a game of golf

The golf course and the environment is great - good views and high greens quality.
However, the accommodation reminds you about the first Australian settlements and the cozy conditions people had to live at, with no tables in the rooms, beds are so small that a normal man (188cm) doesn't fit them, no aircon or other ways to get warm at winter, including the scarce selection of drinks at the bar.
So if you want to enjoy and good gold course and don't mind a short trip to the past to experience how people lived about hundred years ago then the place is awesome. For others who appreciate a decent room size and modern environment and who put the accommodation to be the key for the nice weekend, it will be a disappointment

    Terrific food this weekend again.

We have been coming now to Dormie for 33 years, and this year was the best food ever.

Wine selection could be improved a little. We took the Oatley's which was quite good. No complaints
