A historical area of spiritual and cultural significance to the original inhabitants which have been carefully preserved and acknowledged with lovely wall murals. There is a fish 'ladder' as well which is worth checking out.

As a long distance skater i find this to be the pinicle of melbourne with the capital city trail , the merri creek trail , moonee ponds trail , the main yarra trail also close by. And ok for inlines or quad skates.

Another pleasant place to walk my dogs, located on the junction of Merri Creek and the Yarra River. Great bike tracks and jogging tracks all way into the city.
