Absolutely awful pizza - Ordered and paid for extras on the pizza which were not put on, soggy, sloppy base and insipid tastecould only eat it after covering it with sweet chilli sauce to give it some flavour. Will never go back, if you are looking for a nice pizza shop in Gisborne definitely DO NOT come here

Have been away from Gisborne for awhile..came back to new owners at La Rustica. The owner needs to update their people skills and the way they speak to the kids working there. The kids weren't happy and if my boss spoke to me the way I heard them spoken to I'd be unhappy with forced smiles to. This used to be a nice place to get food from. The pizza was minimal with ingredients..and the only taste was the horrible taste of the pizza base sauce. NOT impressed..we will not be back. Treat those kids better and stop being so stingy with the pizza toppings.
