I wasn't expecting anything fancy but was overall happy with the basics. It's a good location to stay, very friendly staff, close to everything, cheap, decent bed, decent bathroom but one thing that really pissed me off was I had idiots next to my window talking and playing music very loudly at 5am in the morning. Like really? Did you think there was no one else staying in this hotel? Other people in the building are inconsiderate of those around them. Got very little sleep as a result so it's easy for noise to travel through your window. Can't do much about the idiots though. Hopefully natural selection takes play.

Chinese owned and operated. Cheap but lousy. No lift, you have to carry heavy luggages to the reception upstairs via a narrow staircase. Very rude chinese receptionist, no reason to book again in the future

Nice hotel, great location in the city centre, close to darling harbour, opera house, shopping center, restaurants, cafes and clubs. The staff are very friendly.

Quaint, cosy accommodation in the heart of the city. Entrance is a hole in the wall and then it is a decent climb up stairs. The receptionist was helpful and friendly, and the room was a good size with a good bathroom, TV and bed. For the price I was extremely happy with this accommodation. Would be happy to stay again.

Hotel is in a wonderful location within walking distance to food, museums, tours etc. Hotel rooms are small, and having to use the stairs are a good way to force you to work out. There are small flies in that come out of the bathroom drain but overall the room is decent, no complaints yet.

Small tidy rooms with tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival. The place is small but clean. Nice lounge room. Fantastic city location and God value for money.

Rooms were a little small but that didn't matter. It was all about location. It's perfectly situated in the center of everything and makes getting around really easy. Also it's near the tram station for quick access to the airport. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. It's not the Ritz but perfect for budget travelers with experiences on the mind.

This hotel is horrible I booked it for my family, when they arrived they were told that the room only had a double bed when we booked for 3 people. There were also no help with bags my father is older and walking the stairs with their bags was very hard. Not a great place to book.

The entrance is just a tiny door between two businesses, then two sets of steep stairs to get to reception, they then managed to stuff up our reservation and gave us two rooms for two when there were meant to be three rooms. Upon waking up the first morning I was greeted by a 25cm long rat sitting on the bench in the kitchen. This hotel is a waste of money, unhygenic and unorganised. Strongly would not recommend.

Great price in the city centre. Bedroom window was open when we arrived and room full of mosquitoes. Close to everything. Kitchen amenities available. No lifts. Air conditioner kept breaking down in the main bedroom. On balance we got what we paid for.

Great location, nice staff. Room isn't great, but is good if you just need a place to sleep at night.
