  Chris Savage Plaster Design has the most beautiful mantel pieces to choose from and he went to great lengths to custom size mine, sending drawings and measurements from my info and photos of fireplace. I also changed my mind twice but that was no problem. Chris and Marcus also installed it to perfection. they are the most friendly and helpful guys.

  Following up from Caza’s 1 star review I completely agree with those comments. My partner and I went to the store, they had our existing cornice in stock that we wanted to order more of for our recent renovations.
  
  Chris was somewhat helpful then, followed up Monday to confirm the measurements and order, no response, called the Tuesday, was told they would reply to my email, no response, called the Wednesday, no answer, Texted the mobile number Chris gave us, no response. My partner took Friday off work and went to the shop.
  
  According to my partner Chris seemed surprised that he went in, he didn’t sound convincing when he said “I’ll look for the mould over the weekend and get back to you Monday on Tuesday”
  
  Monday and Tuesday came no answer, we told our builder that he’s not even attempting to get in touch with us. Our amazing builder told us he would call and follow up. He got in touch with Chris on Tuesday, Chris told him he would find the mould and get back to him the next day. Builder calls the next day no answer and not retuning his calls.
  
  I just don’t understand how you do business like that? If you didn’t want the business in the first place, it’s not hard to say “sorry we can’t do it” or “sorry we can’t find the mould” but don’t keep giving people excuses and saying that you will do something and not doing.
  
  Lastly it’s also stupid to make a builder an empty promise, wouldn’t you not want to ruin your reputation with them that way for referrals?
  
  The whole process was extremely frustrating. We decided to rip down our existing cornice and replace the entire lot and our business went to Perth Plaster Mouldings in bayswater.
  
  Wayyyy more helpful. Save yourself the hassle and just go somewhere else in the future.
  Avoid Chris and his unprofessionalism and empty promises.

  Chris and his son, Marcus are true artisans of this highly specialized craft. It has made an amazing difference to my new build. Couldn't be more happier with the work.
