Good wines and very nice scenery. Oerfect fir wedding receptions. It reminded me of the Tuscany region in Italy.
My wife and I visited the cellar door on a particularly busy Sunday afternoon with only 2 staff members on. I have to stay the two ladies were absolutely amazing, despite the crazy, busy atmosphere we were felt most welcome and even entertained by the busy atmosphere. We did whoever feel awful for the poor ladies who worked so hard, they definitely deserved a wine by the end of the night. I do think even a junior to wash glasses would have helped. Great wine had however x
The huge sandstone fire place, beautiful flowers throughout, huge candelabras and the most amazing view over the vineyards; straight out of game of thrones!! High ceilings with old wooden beams and amazing food and wine. Can't go wrong.
The chef made the most wonderful vegan me for me which was not only delicious but creative and looked like a work of art. He deserved a michelan star. Thank you chef robin for a fabulous experience.
Underwhelmed. Duck too salty, beef cheeks not salted at all with no flavour. Poor service, no cracked pepper no filling up of water. Didn't ask how the meals were or if we would like tea/coffee with dessert. Desserts were good but that's not hard to do. Front of house is friendly but that's where the good experience ends.
Used to be our favourite but not any more.
The scenery is of course stunning which is the only reason this got 2 stars.
Lovely location. Best time of the year is autumn. Winery was wonderful. High tea on the estate sensational!
Lovely location, but the restaurant could do a lot better, starting with some white sheets to add a level of class. The courtyard not utilised at all. Food not bad but nothing to write home about either. Lacking service and any flare, just young kids taking orders. No music or ambience, nothing special. Would only recommend for casual coffee on a nice day, not a special occasion or main meal.
First sight of the grounds was very impressive - beautiful mix of manicured garden & sprawling trees. Catering for 100ish Porsche club NSW was presented well, served hot and delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit to enjoy the food, atmosphere & the cellar door for a little treat to take home. Michelle
Extraordinary wine. Rude restaurant experience with no service.
The Siraz was incredible. My cousins from the U.S. and I took 4 bottles of reserve. Good cellar door with nice ambience. We got some farm produced jam as well. We wanted to dine there. We had no reservation but before we could check what was possible and not we got bluntly kicked out by one lady at the restaurant. This became a talking point across quite a few of our wine tours in California. Well done, guys. Was quite embarrased. But great wine though. Keep at it.
Accommodated a group of 12 for a great wine tasting with no hassles. 5 dollars a head for groups over 6 but if you buy a couple of bottles they'll waive the fee. Really nice wines!
