The bartender i think he was called Tehan is the best drink maker i’ve ever met. his drinks are 12/10 and the extra flair he adds to his drink making just makes the whole experience better. really recommend coming down to this place just to have a drink made from him. definitely will be coming again when i can!

What an amazing experience !
I had the privilege to work with Mr. Chawla and his team at Cathies Lane Reception on ‘Back to 70s with KUAA’ which was a mammoth event and one of the best in the year 2023. It was an amazing customer experience from very beginning to the end. Everyone including Mr. Chawla , Rad , Glen and the whole crew were super friendly , professional and helpful. They collaborated with the event coordination team perfectly and produced a very high-quality event end to end. The venue, catering , decorations and just everything was perfect and up to very high standards. I highly recommend Cathies lane reception, it’s the best in Melbourne by far!

I recently attended this facility for a deb. The facilities ( main room) was the best part. The food was awful. The lasagna was a crime. For $150 dollars per person I'd much rather get a tin of beans because at least that won't make me sick and it might taste good unlike what was being served there.

We had a wonderful day celebrating Mothers day at the Grand. on Sunday 14th May. When we arrived our family and friends commented on the beautiful gardens and venue inside that was so tastefully decorated. We could not fault anything from the delicious food 10 course banquet] to the amazing talented artists that all gave wonderful performances. Thank you so much to the owners of the Grand and for Derrick J for organizing such a lovely afternoon. It really made my Mother's day and everyone said they had a fabulous time. Well done and thanks again.
