This restaurant is a local jewel. The elements to each dish, including deserts, are extensive and very innovative. Putting each dish together therefore takes time but it is worth the wait. So enjoy a glass of wine and enjoy the interaction with the friendly front of house staff. Andrew is an excellent chef and we are looking forward to his summer menu. Go there, relax and enjoy

Same great standard..fresh ingredients creatively presented with that now expected taste sensation. I havent found any other local restaurants to match Casalingas standard and have had to travel into city to match the quality but have paid a lot more for my dining experience. Will return to see what the new menu will taste like. My friends and I enjoyed the evening.

Amazing new menu , i didn't go there for ages because i didn't like the old menu but , damn , the new menu kicks ass ! In fact i went there 8 times in the first week with their new menu it was that good . The vege rolotto , and chicken breast were amazing and don't leave without having a anzac biscuit sandwich or casalinga sundae !

Went there for my 50th birthday, June 17th with my family, a party of 10, as it had been so good in the past. This time however, we were all extremely disappointed! the menu had been changed to an upmarket type and although my entree was nice, the mains, that took well over an hour to come out were extremely disappointing. the waitress/manager did come over and apologie after about an hour and offered us free drinks, but to only half the table! too make matters worse I paid the bill which was $500.00 and when I checked the receipt a few weeks later discovered I was charged $50.00 for a bottle of wine we never ordered or received. Will never return again, and have told all my friends as well.

A local favourite for my partner and I. Food is always delicious, especially the selection of oysters. Staff are always lovely and very helpful.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience for Mothers Day, booking of 10 and we couldn't have been better looked after. All the staff went out of their way to help with a baby and elderly man in a wheel chair. All meals were good to perfection and presentation was excellent. An absolute gem of a restaurant.

Had the fish because it was a special and I thought it would be the freshest option but it was dry and tasted reheated and served in a tiny rectangle plate that no human can eat from with out putting your meal all over the table. My daughter was happy with the lasagne but it looked dry too. And poorly presented. Wish I'd stayed at home and cooked. Price was reasonable .

Casalinga on17th December,2016 was the venue for our son's wedding for 80 guests. 4 choices of entree and 4 choices of mains. 2 wedding cakes, made by the chef, were presented as dessert. Smaller room allowed for children to enjoy a lovely evening and for presents and other items to be displayed. Staff courteous, polite, well organised and catered for all dietary requirements. I would highly recommend it as a place to hold a wedding reception in an intimate setting. Thank you
