Beef vindaloo takeaway - 8 small chunks of beef swimming in a container of sweet, only mildly spicy gravy. Similarly lamb biriyani bland and gluggy. Like my curries hot and made that clear on ordering.

glad we booked for saturday night- very busy. service and food tops! we over ordered as you do with only two of us to eat all the delish food. whatever food left we had takeway because we dont want to waste delicious food.

Great food, good service and a really good atmosphere. There are now many Indian restaurants in Melbourne but Carlton curry house a firm favourite.

Worse service ever!!! We waited 1 hour just for 3 items for two people!!! Not only that they forgot to put salt in the curry and only one girl was serving as a waitress probably the longest waited restaurant I've ever visited with such poor quality food!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

We got the chicken korma and butter chicken. The butter chicken was great but this is the first time where the korma was better then the butter chicken. Serioudly best chicken korma I've ever had.

Service was a little slow but we were not in a rush so didn't matter and the lady serving us was so nice. It's a nice small family business and great value.
