Camberwell Electrics were the only company I contacted who were the slightest bit interested in actually providing a service and it was by far the cheapest quote on getting an airconditioner sold and installed. They were about 30% cheaper than other companies. They came when they said they would, delivered on time and the installers did a great job. What more could one ask!

I dealt with Mae and we had a very time pressured and somewhat complicated set of challenges to fit out my new Kitchen. Mae was just amazing. Extremely professional, gave me excellent advice, and managed the complexities superbly. I have dealt with Mae now on two occasions over three years buying multiple appliances. Her professionalism, personal touch and knowledge is 5 star. That is why I went back the second time because she is outstanding. In fact, all of Camberwell Electrics staff are wonderful. Great service and prices.

Over the years we've bought our washing machine, dishwasher, new ducted heating, cook top and oven from Camberwell Electrics. After almost a year we had a couple of problems with the european oven. The service from the distributors was not great, but Hans and the team at Camberwell Electrics helped get us the service we needed, and ultimately, a refund for the oven. It's the fact that they stand behind their product range – and deal with the distributors for us when necessary – that makes them our preferred supplier for all things electrical. And the sales staff are all great to deal with, too.

Had our first shopping experience here and it was GREAT! Not only did they give us a discount for the Easter holiday when we called to check stock on a particular refrigerator, but they did everything they could to get us our fridge delivered as soon as possible despite the long holiday weekend. I can't say enough good things about their sales staff. The delivery gentlemen were thorough, friendly, polite and funny. Their accounts receivables department was also delightful and an absolute pleasure to deal with. We'd totally go back for our next appliance purchase.

'Who cares, that's how it goes'

Salespeople in store quote higher prices than advertised online. After buying something in store and going online to check it out, I noticed it was $100 less advertised than was translated to me in store.

I don't negotiate with salespeople, I value their time and service and pay the price they quote HOWEVER being sold for higher than the advertised price is unfair.

When i raised it with my salesperson, he spoke with his manager and just said 'oh well, who cares, that's how it goes'.

What a joke.

Good air con selection and info at point of sale. Was able to get them to match price from elsewhere. Slow response to phone messages. After sales service not as advised and not helpful.
