My family have had most of our functions at Calypso and have enjoyed and been complimented on each and every one of them. The food and staff are wonderful.

$17.20 for a schnitzel burger and a cup of tea? Its a frozen processed piece of chicken with a bit of lettuce on a bun and a teabag in hot water! Also who cuts a burger in half? The best bit is wrapping your hands around the warm bun and taking the first bite! Thanks alot calypso you took that away from me when you presented me with two ends of a burger.

Went here for breakfast, just plain bad!
Me: do you do eggs benedict?
Waitress: No
Me: can I have a look at your breakfast menu?
Waitress: we don’t have a menu, our breakfast foods are over there.
Went over & had a look, terrible selection so I ordered some raison toast with a flat white.
Me: can I have that with butter
Waitress: blank look
Me: can I pay with my credit card
Waitress: cash only.
In the end I got slightly burnt toast with margarine. And they don’t bring your coffee to your table you have to get it yourself.
What a terrible start to my morning (I liked the coffee though).response / report this review
