Good consistent coffee, friendly staff, and a reasonable fast-moving menu - but the place quickly becomes a very crowded see-and-be-seen for the Inner South on weekend mornings.
We had the most amazing breakfast. The coffee & service was excellent. Even on a busy Saturday morning with a large coffee order service was fast & friendly & coffee was spot on .
Absolutely love this place.. I'm from Melbourne, saw some Instagram photos and thought why not give it a shot. This place is truly Aaaamazing! Will definitely come here again whenever I'm back in Canberra.
Loved everything about this little café. From the décor, outdoor area, service was beautiful and to top it off the food was delicious. Will definitely be coming back!
Great place to meet for coffee in Deakin. This place is always busy and has a great atmosphere. Good coffee and food and great outdoor seating.
Went on a sunday morning, around 10am. The live music was good and created a good vibe. However, it was very hard to get the attention of the one person who was responsible for reserving tables. When we did get a seat it took around 70 minutes to get our food, and one of the two of our orders were wrong. To their credit, the waiters were apologetic and offered a free coffee.
Always tasty food and coffee and close to the action in Deakin. Staff are friendly and helpful and it's pumps in the weekend. Great outdoor area in the warmer months.
Staff are very warm and responsive. Despite how busy it is (and it's usually very busy), the wait for service, drinks and food are all very prompt. The seasonal menu will always have something delicious on it, for savoury and sweet teeth alike! Coffee is usually pretty good. Dishes are fairly reasonably priced - it could be argued that they are at the higher end of the 'reasonable' scale; but extras and additions will sting, so be restrained.
Coffee was really good and so was there food. Comfortable atmosphere and heat service.
Great coffee, can be busy though. Friendly staff. It has indoor and and outdoor seating.
If you order a burger, don't eat it with your hands.
The food here is pretty good. However, to access the bathroom you need to get a key off a staff member, and walk around the side of the building. And the bathroom doesn't have hot water. This wouldn't usually bother me much. But when I had the jerk chicken burger it dripped (tasty) sauce and guacamole all over my hands. I felt a bit bad putting my greasy fingers all over the key. Next time I would be smart and use the knife and fork provided to eat my burger.
Good food. Nice ambience. A good place to have very casual meetings.
Would come back. :)
Great atmosphere. Meals to rival Melbourne. Call ahead and book to avoid a wait or chill out the garden area until a table is free, the staff will assist with this.
