Food here is amazing, be prepared to wait a while for it though. Each time I visit, just when I'm thinking of how ridiculous the wait has been and I'm ready to walk out, my food arrives and it's impeccable and I can't be mad anymore.

If you sit out front, there's a lovely view of the lake. The service was also really friendly.

Didn't try the food off the menu, but I had some scones, which were pretty good. Would be good if they had real cream. Still, it's $7.50 for two scones and a coffee, which I think is pretty decent.

Great place to grab breakfast or a quick coffee. Get a take away and stroll around the lake. Have been coming here for years and is always consistent.

Very good lunch. The sizzle was great. My wife had the eggplant and thought it was great as well. The steak sandwich was a little tough.

This is one of the best cafes we have even visited in Canberra. Our friends told us about it and we are happy to verify. Truly great coffee, lovely carrot cake, smiling waiters and waitresses, beautiful lake view. And the Breakfast so delicious. My husband and I were enjoying so much that we will surely come back. Thumb up!
