While I was disappointed with the booking process, once we all had lunch at Heidi, we enjoyed an excellent meal, with good service.

After hearing the cafe at Heide MOMA Bulleen was being taken over by new management, I was excited as the quality of both food and service had been dropping dismally over the past year or so.

For years Heide has been a go-to destination for family and friends because let's face it, this area doesn't have a great deal of high quality cultural spaces and eateries on offer.

On my first visit since the take-over I was nothing short of disappointed, & treated quite dismissively by management (possibly owner?) and sent away because cafe was closed early for a private function (was no notice advising this).

We accept and understand early closure sans warning, but not to be treated disrespectfully by new management.

Looking forward to some future day where this cafe gets the right recipe and balance for an excellent food experience, which reflects its high prices.

Over the past year this place has gone from one of melbournes go to brunch places to a No Go zone
New management really has let the quality go down hill and price go up
Coffee is the only good thing here but frankly its not worth it becuase i can name u a 101 other places with great coffee and food

Had a lovely food experience. Crazy busy place and parking is a nightmare however we could not fault the food. The pork belly looked like a piece of art and was perfectly cooked. They also had a very tasty saffron curry.

Nice atmosphere but very busy on weekends, which means car park was chocablock. Coffee and service good. My meal was very average and a bit pricey for what you're getting.

Coffee was more expensive than any other I've had in Melbourne! Food looked reasonably priced however. Good, open atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Free WiFi.

Food used to be great. But not so much lately. They have taken one of the best dishes (fish burger ) off the menu. We had a lamb and a trout dish. Both were pretty tasteless. Absolutely not worth the money I paid.

We per-booked a table of 6 for a Sunday branch to celebrate a birthday. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Communication over the phone and by emails was friendly, informative and accommodating our dietary needs, and special cake order. On the day, staff were welcoming and friendly, and the food was great. Overall we had a memorable afternoon in a very good way.
