Matt from Brisbane Kitchen Design helped us come up with a design for a large galley style kitchen, pantry and built-in dining area with bench seat which was installed in November 2020.

We had a couple of pre-meetings / discussions before settling on a final design. During this process we found Matt knowledgeable and capable.

He was able to embrace our vision while using his experience to suggest improvements and where necessary, steer us towards design outcomes which were both aesthetically appealing and functional.

Matt facilitated the end-to-end installation, from design, cabinetry, bench tops to tiling; coordinating trades and was always contactable / responsive.

We are thrilled with outcome and very happy with Brisbane Kitchen Design. We would definitely recommend Matt.

In late 2020 I moved to Australia from Scotland. With my blessing, my husband bought a house here without me seeing it first; when I saw the kitchen I cried for 3 days. It was dark, had no sense of flow and try as hard as I might, there was nothing I could do with it. I looked around every available kitchen store and just couldn't find anything nice enough to justify the expense. I really didn't think we could afford a custom design kitchen. After lots of research I came across Matt at Brisbane Kitchen Design. He has literally transformed the best vision possible I had for the kitchen into reality. Even as he developed the layout, I asked him if he could build me an island with a rounded ends, book cases and storage. If you look at the pictures, he went above and beyond. It is an absolute joy to be in and everyone who has seen it thinks its amazing. Being able to design something from scratch and choose the colours without having to compromise is unimaginably pleasurable! Matt was always on hand for advice and made really helpful suggestions if what we were looking for wasn't going to work out. He created an opening that we thought was way too small and he kept reassuring us it was fine - we weren't 100% convinced - but he was 100% right. If you use him, and you really should, then follow his advice. This man knows what he's doing! Another huge plus point are the tradies he uses - they are so good at what they do, really tidy and just genuinely nice hardworking people. A special mention to Jack at Creek to Coast for all the electric work, Ben and team from Solid Joinery, who did an outstanding job building the cabinets and to Zach from Zilch building who will probably be the only builder we ever use for our other renovation work - he was that good. If you want the kitchen you always dreamed of, seriously do not bother looking elsewhere ( we did all that leg work already!) - Matt and his team will give you exactly what you want and we ended up with something even better than we hoped for

I have never done a renovation before this. I was concerned that I would not get what I paid for. WOW what a very pleasant surprise. Brilliant result, fantastic tradies, super communication and management of my project. In fact I enjoyed it from the time Mathew walked in the door. Could not recommend highly enough.

Matthew did a great job of our kitchen which was the first stage of the renovation of an apartment in a 22 year old building and there were many challenges to deal with. Not in the least there were access issues, as well as the fact the kitchen had not been renovated in that time. While I provided the design. Matthew and his team interpreted it well, solving the problems and the result is very pleasing, both in function as well as appearance. His service is excellent too and we have remained friends after the project was finished. A good guy
