"Serving The Best Desserts In Tasmania"
I had a most enjoyable evening at Bombay on the beach. The chocolate mud cake was delicious, served with chocolate ice cream, and obviously carefully prepared.
The waiting staff were efficient and knowledgeable. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. We would love to return.response / report this review -

Stopped in here on a day trip down the channel. Had a great view of the bay. Found the butter chicken, garlic naans, and carrot cake lived up to expectations and the staff were very attentive. Thank you

We tried the Lemon Coconut Chicken which had amazing flavors of coconut cream & hint of lemon zest garnish with shredded coconut. Everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor.
Thanks for take away in lockdown much appreciated. We definitely plan on coming back when they are open for inside dining and want to try some other dishes!response / report this review -

I am always a fan of desserts and Bombay on the Beach just blown me away. The desserts they have are wondrous, especially Blueberry Cheesecake. Just love it.

I have ordered three times here. The first time was good, the second time I ordered the butter chicken and it was undercooked and I got food poisoning as result. I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and try a vegetable dish instead. The pumpkin was all but raw, and some of the vegetables had a very strong chemical taste. I will not order from here again.

We celebrated our daughters 30th birthday here. The service was fabulous as was the food. It was a Sunday lunch and there were 14 of us, including 2 toddlers, 2 babies and prams. The lovely staff were very accommodating and paid attention to our needs during our whole dining experience. It was a pleasure and intend on dining there again.

My partner and i recently visited Tasmania from Victoria and during our stay we were looking for places to go for dinner and we found this little restaurant called Bombay on the beach in Blackmans bay and just wow! The food was amazing, in a very cosy setting. The only negative was the wait time for our meals but I can put that down to the fact that they put so much love into preparing their food and getting the flavours right, so when the food hits the table, we as diners get to experience an authentic snapshot into Indian culture through their cuisine. Well worth the wait.

We thoroughly enjoyed our beautiful meal. Greeted as if we were family and throughout our dining experience treated as such. Nothing was a chore for the staff and i simply can't find anything wrong with this wonderful establishment. Always a happy and welcoming. Food is incredible. The wine list (and prices) impeccable. The best mango lassi we've ever had. We've had many in our travels. Well done Bombay on the beach. You are our happy place. See you again soon!!! ❤

Travelling first time to Hobart and 2 of our friends suggested this restaurant as not to be missed and that we would not be disappointed. The food was simply amazing and were not disappointed at all. The service team was really nice , smiling all the time and were prompt to suggest a few things to us. A night to remember.
