Bus stops right outside three sisters , or can walk 3 km to it , your choice .Just need a opal card , easy access from train to bus which is across the road.

Absolutely brilliant experience the driver Damien was full of handy information. I highly recommend anyone going to katoomba leave ya car at the motel and do this. Well worth the price of admission

Awesome service. Did most of the walks but wanted rest breaks and the commentary from both drivers had, were informative and entertaining. Also consider taking as when riding on top, you see the sights/nature from up higher and from farther which is very different from bush walking.

Horrible service. Bus driver refused to stop as the bus line on timetable and blaming customers of not listening to him, while himself said it will stop at there loud and clear only 15mins ago. I don’t know the reason I’m treated like this though. But people of different backgrounds do come as tourists and you are doing service. So maybe you can start doing your work properly and decently. It was the one finished at 4pm today if anyone is looking for the one to be responsible.

Using the Explorer Bus was the highlight of our family holiday in Katoomba. The 6 of us (2 from each generation) had a great time getting to know all the drivers, who were all SO helpful and friendly.
We all enjoy walking, and to be able to take the bus, get off, and hike to another pick-up spot was a great bonus. The every half-hour frequency removed a lot of the pressure. The guide book (that forms your ticket) was unusually helpful, and, if you're here for a week, you could almost get your ticket price back with the discounts ot gives.response / report this review -

The staff are amazingly friendly. I was on a two days pass. The first day was the new year, so it wasn't busy. The driver did a personalised interesting commentary. The second day was a very busy day, and I missed the 9am ride to Wentworth fall. Although they have bus full of tourists to deal with, they had gone out of their way to take me in a van to Wentworth fall. Define five stars for their services. Thank you very much for the awesome tour!

A great way to experience what the Blue Mountains has to offer, Hop On Hop Off All Day or for longer if you are staying in the Blue Mountains. Easy to catch a train from Sydney to the Blue Mountains to connect with the bus, call into the office right at the top of the railway stairs.
